Activists, filmmakers, wildlife advocates, and even a prince showed up for “Kat Kramer’s Films That Change The World” 13th installment film “Walking Thunder: Ode to the African Elephant” premiered at Laemmle Royal on Friday, August 15th.

Diane Warren was also there!  Kat Kramer had a designer, Jene Jeandron (JJ Designs), who makes custom hand-painted jackets, make several “Elephant” jackets for Kat, Diane Warren (legendary songwriter with an Oscar) and Lily Tomlin, who wasn’t able to attend. Kat’s mother Karen Sharpe-Kramer wore her jacket proudly.  Karen Sharpe-Kramer was on the Host Committee and Kat moderated the panel Q&A, which was a “think-tank” with the audience staying late and asking burning questions. It was so impactful, that they all got kicked out of the theater by the manager because he needed to close up. Activism indeed! The way premieres should go!

Lysander Christo, the centerpiece of WT, charmed the audience, many VIP’s including Prince Gharios, award winning actress/ producer Karen Sharpe-Kramer, Irina Maleeva, who has fostered many elephants.  There were 15 Oscar-nominees and actually Oscar winner (Diane has an honorary Oscar) living legend and fellow wildlife advocate.  Diane was gifted a custom made “Elephant” Jacket by Jene Jeandron, owner of JJ Designs.

The “Kat Kramer’s Films That Change The World” “think-tank” panel, which Kat moderated, featuring Ettore Botta, SpaceWow Inc., Lysander Christo, Shana Kelly-Re-Think Captivity/World Elephant Alliance, Thyra Rutter/Arte For Elephants, and Georja Umano/Elephant Matriarch Project.
